Vacation Bible School
School is in session at Robot Academy!
Maestro the new bot at school teaches Scrappy about her Primary Program: to have a relationship with the Master Programmer. And not only that, but that the Master Programmer has equipped all bots with apps to help them live as He designed.Over the five days of VBS kids will learn first that God made them to have a relationship with Him, and that when that relationship begins they can start living the lives they were programed for (by showing kindness, forgiving, serving, and telling others).

What is Vacation Bible School?Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a program that teaches kids basic Bible truths about God’s love, His Word (the Bible), and salvation, in fun and interactive ways.
What will my child do at VBS?In addition to hearing an exciting Bible story each day, kids will enjoy lively games, incredible crafts, memorable songs, entertaining cartoons, and delicious snacks. In each activity, the general theme or day’s lesson will be reinforced. Plus, they’ll have the opportunity to share God’s love with other kids around the world in our mission project.
When is VBS?VBS is July 10th – 14th from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.On Sunday, July 16th, families are invited to join us for service at 10:45am to see a recap of the week and watch the kids perform their songs. After church a free hot dog lunch will be provided. Families can enjoy some food and then spend time going head-to-head in a few of our fun VBS games.
Who can attend VBS?VBS is open to children who are (potty-trained) 3 years old, through children who have completed 5th grade.
What is this year’s theme? This year our VBS is called “Robot Academy.” Each day a cartoon will introduce kids to the bots of Robot Academy. Through these stories they’ll learn that they were made for faith in Jesus and how to live out that faith in everyday life.
If I drop my child off who will they be with?Children are placed into classes based on age/grade level. Each classroom as well as each activity center is equipped with a number of adults who have been thoroughly screened and background checked.
What if my child has special needs or allergies? Before the start of VBS parents are asked to fill out a registration form. Part of this form covers any special needs your child might have. After the form is filled out, the appropriate adult parties are informed of your child’s need and the best way to address it.
How can I sign up?Click HERE or text VBS2023 to 440-296-5520 and we’ll send you the registration form to your phone.
How can I get my child ready for VBS?If you haven’t already registered, that’s a great place to start. If you choose to register the day of, please plan to arrive early in order to fill out the appropriate forms before the event begins.Kids should come wearing “play” clothes and tennis shoes. (Robot Academy T-Shirts are available for purchase (first come first serve) during VBS week.)Lastly, while nothing is required to bring to VBS, your child is always welcome to bring his or her own Bible to follow along during the classroom time.
